The Edinburgh Festival of Cycling is on from the 15th to 23rd June. We can't wait - almost every event looks amazing!
Highlights for us include the SKELF skills track launch, 1957 FLying Scot performance and the Bamboo Framebuilding course amongst so many amazing events.
Full listings, details etc can be found at http://www.edfoc.org.uk/
We've been working hard to improve our repair turnaround time and quality.
We had a bit of a backlog for a while but that's clear now.
At the moment if you drop your bike in for repair it should be ready for you within 24 hours for normal jobs. More complicated work, bike builds etc can take longer.
We also offer a same-day service - if you book your repair/servicing ~48hrs in advance we can get your bike back the same day you drop it off. Please call us to book on 466 1740
Andy spent some of the quiet months this winter in the basement of the shop learning to TIG weld bike frames. The fruits of his labour - a disc braked tourer made from Columbus tubing - will be on display at the Mini-Maker-Faire Edinburgh at Summerhall on Sunday 7/4/13. He'll be in the bike zoo display, along with a bunch of tall bikes, freak bikes and a bike disco!!
We will be open 22rd, 27th, 28th, 29th and then resume normal opening hours on the 3rd of January.
A big thank you to all the people that have been through the shop this year and we look forward to seeing you in the new year!
