We are looking for a new member of staff to either work primarily on the shop or mechanic side of the business. The two possible roles are detailed below and if you think you fit either description, then please do get in touch.

Bike Mechanic

Eastside Bikes is a service-oriented bike shop founded in 2009. We aim to provide a friendly experience for our wide range of customers.

We are looking for an employee to take on a role primarily repairing bikes and building bikes for sale. You must have an excellent knowledge of bikes and bike components, and have experience working in a busy workshop. You will also be required to liaise with customers, work with our EPOS system, and help with general customer service as the business requires.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, enthusiastic, have experience of a similar role, have detailed knowledge of bikes and be up to date on the bike industry. Mechanical experience is an absolute must. You must, must, must be deeply passionate about bikes, we don't care what specialisation; road bikes, mountain bikes, touring, singlespeed whatever!

We are open 8am - 7pm Mon-Fri, 10am - 5.30pm Sat. You will work 3 to 5 days a week with possibility for more shifts as needs of the business demand.

Wage dependent on experience.

Sales Assistant

Eastside Bikes is a service-oriented bike shop founded in 2009. We aim to provide a friendly experience for our wide range of customers.

We are looking for an employee to take on a role primarily interfacing with customers, selling bikes, checking in repairs, maintaining the shop floor, ordering stock, working with our EPOS system, and helping with general administrative tasks. You will also be required to do small on-the-spot repairs such as punctures.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, enthusiastic, have experience of a similar role, have detailed knowledge of bikes and be up to date on the bike industry. Mechanical experience would be an advantage but not strictly necessary. You must, must, must be deeply passionate about bikes, we don't care what specialisation; road bikes, mountain bikes, touring, singlespeed whatever!
